Who are we?

Sam & Illia is a variety cover musical duo, as well as a pop/rock/soul cover band based out of Columbia SC. They met while teaching voice and guitar across the hall at a local music lesson studio, and have been making music together ever since. They play a wide variety of tunes from rock, jazz, R&B, blues, pop, and everything in between. Booking Sam & Illia is the perfect option to have a good time in any space, from taproom, to corporate event, to wedding reception!

Sam and Illia are the perfect musical duo, not to mention they are lovely to work with. Their amazing voices, music variety and overall style are top notch. You won’t regret booking them!

From the first communication with Sam and Ilia, we knew we just had to have them play at our wedding. The collaboration on our song set and wishlist, Sam made sure the process was seamless and ensured that they would be able to play our entry songs of Thunderstruck and Kashmir…and it sounded incredible!!!!! We couldn’t have been more thrilled with music for our day, and look forward to working with them again for another event.

We had the pleasure of working with Sam & Ilia and crew for our wedding in December. They were very organized and had a timeline that kept us on track with planning and never made us feel rushed. They have an extensive song bank with a variety of popular songs. It was hard to narrow it down! The band kept the party going all night, and our friends and family raved about how awesome it was! They paid attention to the little details and requests we had, and even handled the sound for the ceremony.
